CTRP's mission is to provide quality equine assisted activities and therapies for individuals with special needs.

The Coastal Therapeutic Riding Program (CTRP) was founded in 1999 and is an accredited Center of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (www.PATHintl.org). CTRP is a Nonprofit 501(c)3 Organization.  All of our instructors are PATH trained and certified.

Russell's Reach Farm

Come meet our therapy horses, sheep, goats,cows, pigs, miniature donkey and miniature horses that call Russell's Reach and C.T.R.P. home. We have a 12 stall barn on 23 acres that houses 25 horses. Our pastures are situated around a large koi pond. Therapy students enjoy feeding Mr. Tim's many koi from horseback after their lessons. We have three riding rings and one is a covered, all weather riding arena. We have extensive cleared trails that wrap around the farm great for shady hacks on the those hot NC summers. The farm is named for Kim's grandparents, Bob and Jane Russell, and is a haven to all who enter.
