Our therapy horses are truly one in a million. Each horse has arrived at a therapy career after careful consideration, training, and experience. The horses that make up the CTRP team are endlessly patient, safe, and capable partners for our riders. Their strong backs and sweet natured personalities allow our riders to connect with them in wordless friendship and trust. They are more than lesson horses, they are family. Come to the farm and meet these amazing souls, they love carrots and volunteers.

We provide therapeutic riding for individuals with special needs. Sometimes it appears to be a simple recreational activity, other times it is clearly the opportunity to teach riding skills. We see clients with minimal issues as well as individuals with multiple and severe disabilities. We accommodate individuals as well as groups. We select horses with calm temperaments to accommodate these activities.

The covered riding arena is equipped with games and activities. We plan our sessions according to each individual rider’s goals, incorporating activities to challenge them physically and mentally. We also have outdoor activity areas that we can enjoy as the weather allows.
